Today we started our missions and it was a great start to the week. The group I'm in stayed back at the church we are sleeping in and helped with kids club. The kids were great and opened up to us quickly. Also, we just returned from walking the Golden Gate Bridge. It was beautiful, and it was a great way to see what beautiful things God creates. We are working with the local Salvation Army hosting their Day Camp. There are about 35 kids here. The majority are Latino. We are having a blast at the local rec center. Ale one of the local kids says, "gracias para huondo con los ninos"
We will blog when we can. Our schedule is very tight.
I am so pumped
We have just gotten our job and team assignments and I'm so happy I got in team with MaryKay and Paator Mike and a bunch more awesome people, some I don't know that well and now I hope that I will have the chance to get to know them. The jobs our team is doing are the ones that I personal wanted to do. God had a plan and his plan answered my prayers that I could get to know the people on this trip that I don't know. I am so blessed that God has smiled upon me, my team, and friends. Everyone it's official, your prayers are working please keep it up
