On The Plane

Well we are finally on our plane heading to San Fran!

Yes, today was long and totally unexpected, I'm very proud of these students ~ each one had a very good attitude and adapted very well.

I'm honored and blessed that I have this opportunity to help lead this trip and am looking forward to seeing his God moves in each student.

More blogging to come ... devices must be turned off soon!

Strange ways

Right now we are we are still in Denver and at first the delays we had really bothered me but quickly things started to change I think God gave us the opportunity to bond not just with each other but with other's we just meet. To me it is made clear God works in the strangest ways and I'm glad he did otherwise the amazing experiences we have had today wouldn't have ever happened

Long Day of Travel: Part Two

Because of the delay, we knew we would miss our connecting flight in Denver, so Mike was hard at work trying to figure out some new flights for us. Even until the very last minute, we had no idea if we would even still be taking our original flight.

All the other passengers had boarded, but they kept telling us to wait. Then they suddenly had us board! The other passengers were super crabby, and the stewardess even yelled at the kids for "not being by the gate waiting". Not to worry though ~ we knew what we were doing! Three hours late, we finally flew to Denver.

Long Day Of Travel: Part 1

We were off to a great start this morning ~ we made it to Milwaukee with plenty of time to spare, got through security, and found where we needed to be. Problem free!

We boarded the plane and waited 45 minutes... And then they announced that we had to deplane because they had to change two of the plane's tires!

We managed to pass the extra two hours:

Hoping for a way to San Fran

We are flying now to Denver. From there, only time will tell. Be praying

Delayed

Well we didn't get far. We boarded, waited, waited, and are waiting. The plane needs new tires. They are changing them out now.  I'm waiting in line to talk to the Frontier Airlines Personal. They've helped 3 people I'm the last hour and 15min. Frustrations are low. Students are having fun doing flash mobs and coordinated dances in the terminal. They are so awesome. I'd probably be more frustrated if they were. We handed out lunch money. We will be eating here. I'll keep you updated as to what happens when we get to Denver. We are suppose to leave at noon, but the tires are on and the pilot just got on. Those are two important components to fly an airplane I'm learning. Please keep us in your prayers. God is good in all of this and He has a plan, it just doesn't line up with my itinerary. I'm going to trust His itinerary is better than mine.
By His Mercy,
Mike

So far so good.

Well we made it to our gate! This is a bigger accomplishment than some of you might think. For me (Mike), It's the no turning back point. We are well on our way. We start boarding in 45min. Students are chillaxin eating and hydrating. I'm super excited about this trip and already the students are bonding and getting excited. We really miss Ben and Hannah and out thoughts and prayers are with them and their family. We will blog as often as we can. Please continue in prayer as our trip gets underway.

Too early

Finally on the road. Dalice made us late. Keep praying for safety.
